1st part of of quay wall handed over to Port of Rotterdam
In October 2011, the first 500m long section of quay wall at the Maasvklate 2 in Rotterdam has been handed over by the contractor BAM to the Port of Rotterdam.
This prestigious project includes in total 211 fender systems which were designed and major components produced by FenderTeam in Germany.
FenderTeam delivered the fender systems just-in-time following exactly the work progress at the job site.
Delivery of all fenders is due to be completed until end of 2011 for installation by the contractor BAM until March / April 2012.
The first vessels are expected to call this new part of the Port of Roterdam in early 2013.
